The Dubai Film and TV Commission (DFTC), a member of Dubai Creative Clusters Authority, announced today a partnership with YouTube to support VIDXB 2017 during the opening press conference for the Middle East Film and Comic Con 2017 (MEFCC). VIDXB will be produced in collaboration with The Alliance LLC, the organizers of MEFCC.
YouTube, the world’s largest video platform, will accelerate the development of online video in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region by serving as a VIDXB Industry Partner. YouTube will also participate on the VIDXB Steering Committee, and actively apply their research and insights on the region to shape VIDXB’s program and offerings.

DUBAI // A star-packed Bollywood movie that was shot in the city will receive its international premiere at Atlantis, The Palm on October 22.
The cast of the comedy Happy New Year, who include Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone and Abhishek Bachchan, are due attend the event.
The revolution shall not be televised, as digital technology reshapes content creation and distribution, the pressure is on TV networks and advertisers to meet the challenge.
